About ACLC

The ACLC serves as an umbrella organization for the literacy providers in the Athens community. We hope that you will explore this site to learn more about literacy issues in our community and perhaps find a way to get involved. We have many opportunities for you to help improve literacy in Athens-Clarke County, such as tutoring students, participating in our annual spelling bee, or making a donation. Thank you for visiting, and we hope to hear from you soon.

The ACLC is a member of the statewide Certified Literate Community Program which is administered by the Technical College System of Georgia.
